Sales Analyst

Job Description

The Sales Analyst performs trade marketing and sales analysis and ensures the development of business systems that provide information relevant to the business and sales projection. From local business cycles to global projects, the job holder executes an important part of the JDE trade marketing analyses.

The Sales Analyst is based in Istanbul Head Office and reports to Shopper Marketing & Sales Strategy Manager, Turkey.

  • Responsible for Coffee and Tea categories’ Key Performance Indicators’ analyses on volume, gross sales, net sales via big data.
  • Proactive reporting and analysis that provides valuable insights into specific shopper / category opportunities and risks that impact category, the sales drivers and brand performance across channels & customers, with the view to recommend solutions through the tools like Nielsen, Scantrack, Company in-house ERP dataset, B2B interactions, etc.
  • Analyse monthly sales outcomes through scorecards for creating opportunities in the distributors & regions & channels
  • Key contributor of Annual and Monthly Operating Cycles of the trade marketing flow.
  • Regularly communicate with global and/or local Shopper Marketing and Sales Strategy teams and cross functional teams to deal with performances, guidelines, opportunities, risks etc

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of professional work experience including trade marketing and/or business analyses experience in Consumable Packed Goods
  • General knowledge in Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry
  • Degree in BA/BS
  • Excellent command of English
  • Excellent command of MS Office; ideally literacy in Nielsen and/or related market analyses tools.
  • Ability to adapt to simultaneously ongoing projects with different set of stakeholders throughout the organization teams.
